Soooo, does this mean there is a new precedent set here; that if I cut 1" off of my factory Accura barrel & put in an SSK BP, that I can post my smokeless load data in open forum now??? It certainly looks that way to me.
Me too, disappointing really.
And I can’t have any fun with the topic without getting into hot water sucks too.
I’d have already used dynamite or 50lbs of tannerite & in dam them damn beavers & been done with it
If you saw the last 3 -5 shot targets I shot over the wknd, you'd have asked me if I had my eyes closed.
Nuthin like some humbling 2 - 2.5 moa groups @200yds after pasting a .5 moa group I can tell ya that.
Really nice shooting. way to make a feller feel like a bonehead for passing of that other barrel like that. I still chew on that decision from time to time bc of the thoughts of the potential in that 12 land shallow groove bore. I just knew that would be a shooter.
Great job brother.
God invented smokeless/corrosion free powder and primers for a reason - you’ve clearly suffered some brain trauma & you really need to look up who invented gunpowder. Your statement couldn’t be more wrong or ridiculous
My .40 sidelock was a 1:37 twist, so my loads, even though I shot everything between 140g-200g out of it will not be the same.
I’ve done the same thing in my Accura 1:22 in sabots, it’s not going to be the same.
Well look at it on the bright side, if you keep missing the target completely, you’ll never have to buy another one. The savings will accumulate according to how much you shoot.
My grandpa had 2) 35 Rem model 141's that he gave one to my father & the other to me when I was about 16. That was my first deer rifle & that's all I used until my late 20's before I got a HP rifle with a scope. I had to sell mine a cpl yrs ago, but my mother still has the one my father had...
Well hopefully this will encourage you to take some range time with your fav traditional ML & shoot some targets to post.
Brother, I have a shooting bench & 400+yd range in my backyard, & I do not shoot enough.
