You asked about what KC was referring to on some of our travels. This is one mention going 1260 miles one way, taken from my journal written in every night in camp.
We only had to do a short trip 800 mileS on the Columbia River to have completed L&C journey. Time beat us out as one does grow older and just can't handle the duties needed done each day. At least we tried, that's more than most..... :Questuon:
