I just read some of the CVA nitride models are changing to cerakote barrel finish in 2020. Is this a step backwards?

This must be a plot by BPI/CVA to get me to buy the Accura .45 LR soon. That's the one you have Michiganmuzzy, right? Getting rid of the nitride barrel next year would change that idea for me real quick.

I'm thinking it might be Cerakote over Nitride Treated Stainless?

This is what it said in the email they sent me. Read the fine print.

Some of our most popular models will be upgraded for 2020, so the 2019 models must go in our End-of-Year Closeout!
Limited quantities, so get yours while they last.

They always give their employees a couple weeks off over the holidays, and shut their online store down as well. So if you want something, order it before this weekend.

I did see the same info on their website about the holiday closing. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to decide by the end of the day today, or wait until next year to see the new offerings.
