I have been looking for one of these Old Lyman .389 Round Ball molds for awhile now, You Don’t see many of them, especially in Good Shape. I have a Thompson Center Seneca with a REALLY Tight .40 Cal Bore (Re-Bore By Bob Hoyt) I have been Wanting to Try Patched RoundBall in it

I finally found an Old Mold, It appeared to be New, or like new by looks of the Photos? I had to have it :lewis: This is the Oldest Moldi own

The Old Mold Casts a VERY NICE, Consistent Ball, They ALL Weigh 89.9 to 90.1 Grains

I Cast up a Few Real Quick, Enough to try this Project out and See if i feel it’s worth Pursuing? A Short Session in my Vibratory Tumbler Removed the Sprues, and Coated them nicely with Powdered Graphite
