I just watched a youtube video of a guy sucessfully shooting ( accurate at high fps velocity ) these heavy 750gr 69 cal minnie ball bullets.
The only thing he had to do was fill the recess in the bullet with glue so the shotgun wad would not be pushed into the bullet destroying the
gas check function. I dont see why this setup could not be muzzle loaded if you had one of those metal adapters that hold the primer like a shotgun
cartridge would and allow loading from the muzzle.of the components needed. The gun used was a 12 ga breakbarrel shotgun that had rifling in the barrel.
It appears the only thing he did was replace a shotgun slug with the 69cal minnie ball that had the rear filled with glue in a regular 12ga slug cartridge.
I dont know anything about any of this but I was amazed that the minnie ball weighed approx twice as much as most shotgun slugs. I imagine this
would work on a dinasour.
