I have an Optima Pro with an add on 12 ga shotgun barrel. Thought I would shoot some 73 cal Minie balls throught it, but couldn't find any, not even a mold. I then started looking at slugs and ended up ordering a 1oz Lee slug mold from Midway USA yesterday. Has anyone done any BP "slug" shooting out there? Any tips or tricks with shooting the slugs in a BP smooth bore? Or, maybe some other kind of bullet other than the Lee slug mold?
