is there a different propety to this powder than smokeless powder because when i weighed the triple 7 pellets they only weighed around 35 grains not 50 and if thats the case should i use loose powder from now on to actually get 100 grains in my loads

No not the right thought..... A 35 grain T7 pellet is equivelent to 50 grains of real black powder - so 3 T7 pellets you are shooting 150 grain equivelent load. T7 is suppose to be 10-15% hotter than regular Black powder. Very few, if any, manufactures will ok 150 grains of loose T7 in their guns. I think the top is 120 grains of loose T7 or 150 grains of T7 pellets....

I am not inot pellets - to expensive so I normally shoot 100 - 110 grains of T7 depending on the gun...

It should also be noted that black powder and its substitutes are measured by volume, not by weight. 100grs of loose T7 actually weighs out to about 80grs in a beam scale.
