It was just to damn gorgeous of a day to waste shooting on the range!

I got dressed up, loaded the hawken, took the dog and hot dogs out back and made a small little cooking fire with my flint n steel striker in no time! Just felt great to soak up some heat in my bones after this winter cold. Beautiful blue skies, which kinda ticked me off having a few airliners fly over and ruin the peace and quiet. But, it is what it is right lol

The best things in life are free.  It's hard to beat a peaceful day in the outdoors with good company.
A good friend of mine has a small campsite on his property.  On occasion he'll spend a summer night sleeping out there with a camp fire and his dogs.
