Autumn had a really good day. Haven't shot her since last July, so it was high time.
Used my go to load, a 250 grain .45 XTP in a Harvester crush rib sabot over 70 grains of 3f Swiss. Remington # 11 cap. T/ C factory aperture sight
This load gets 1610 fps and is VERY hard on deer...
Popped off 10 rounds at 100 yards. Had one misfire... Held poorly for another, but my 3 round groups went from the largest at 1 & 7/8ths to the smallest at 1 & 1/16th. The 250 grain .45 XTP is the longest .45 caliber bullet that will stabilize in her 1-48 twist, according to Greenhill.
She was $250 well spent!
