ok i put my action back in the stock with screws not even snug then holding rifle vertical butt down then i give it a sharp rap (6in or so to seat the recoil lug) then i tighten front screw to 15in-lb then the rear to 15 in-lb then 20in-lbs front and rear and then to 25 in-lb three times in the same pattern using a snap-on dial torqueometer that is 0-100 in-lbs model and as of yet no POI changes any other ideas? so how does everyone else do it?

Glass bedded action and use EZ tool to remove breechplug. I have not cracked an action screw in over 2 years!

And won't until necessary.

I use a center punch to make index marks on the gun and screws. Just turn them until the marks line up. Pretty much a no brainer! Ron

take it apart and put it back together. tighten screw until they feel tight . Go shoot it. Never have had any problem with it changing the POI.
