Almost like finding gold.....

Ma and I were in a Menards shopping this morning and what should I happen to spy on the back of a rack in the canning goods but a carton of small lids and a carton of large lids. So, I took 4 boxes of each. When I turned around to catch up with Ma here sits a woman, maybe thinking that she was missing out on something and grabbed the remainder of each carton. Carole said she was probably the one who tried to hide them but by the way she snatched them up I think she'd have just grabbed both cartons from the get go. At least I can do some canning this season. These canning lids have been like gold lately.

By the time you drive up here to make the switch you can just buy your own powder. Multiple bottles most likely.

Haha - yes, the fuel would probably be $1500 roundtrip! Hmmm…might be worth it…..
