I thought about not shooting my T/C ML before taking it hunting and then thought, it's a nice day to get out, do it. I am glad I did! I had 3 of 4 ring screw heads broken. I have never had something like that happen in 45 years of hunting. I don't recall any specs on the 15+ year old rings. As far as I know, they have been intact even through last year when I took a nice buck. Since I chucked the old rings, I added a new optic with my new ones. I added a Riton 1 Primal 4-16X44 MOA reticle. I chose the MOA reticle to dial in my ballistic data and have better distance aiming points. We all know that getting a clear sight picture is essential because once you pull that trigger, you can't see a thing until the smoke clears.
