I have a friend that was going to give me a .300 Win Mag 4x4 Ducks Unlimited Rifle. Are these any good? Decent platform to setup for long range large or hunting? Any experience with this rifle?
No experience, but if they are giving it to you - take it and then sell it so you can buy a proper ML for long range shooting/hunting.
Then you can share the entire ML experience with us.
Buddy of mine won one in 2007-2008 area has killed an elk every year but one since with it. His came set up with a lam stock and scope seemed like a nice rifle.
