at winter time the same boar could weight ,i would say a least 150lb more,
at spring time they are so skiny,no fat at all,just lean meat,they don"t have what to eat,that's why...
all summer boars eat,wheat,frogs,warms,..they eat everything,so they gain a lot of fat,about 3",and at fall they are much bigger,weight more,and they are ready for a cold winter,.....
and yes -it is most popular game in Lithuania...
and by the way,the dead boar looks much smaller
,but when you see 600lb boar alive,in 10ft distance....he looks like buffalo to me...
my father in good season,use to take up to 25 boars....he lost count long time ago...and I some how lost count too.... :wink:
