Nevermind. I found a new Savage Axis LH in 223 at Bud's Gun Shop. Only $340! Should make for some good coyote medicine.

I think im going to try to pickup a howa mini in .223. If i cant find an affordable one, then that axis might be my second choice.

I had one before they shoot great. I like the Axis over the Axis II (Accutrigger). I get a trigger kit from Mcarbo.com and it brings the trigger down to 2.5 to 3 lb and eliminates the side to side wobble.

Was gonna suggest the Howa mini but they dont come lefty

Buds has em in stock including a nice wood stocked option. Hope you have a use case for 6.5 grendel and 762x39 because once you have one Howa mini you kinda want them all ...
