I have an excellent condition conversion cylinder I am going to sell, but I can not identify it. 6 shot, .38 Special Unmarked. The cylinder is larger diameter than an 1860 Colt. Any ideas?

Looks like 58' Remington based on the hand cuts. Pietta or Uberti is the question.

Do you have a bullet to slide into it for a size check? It is a Howell conversion but it could also be a 45lc unless you know for sure. Check it with some Calipers and get the dimensions then we would know what it is. Their should be a letter stamped on it some where for ether Pietta or Uberti, look for a U or P.
