Distance between bottles, and rifle is 25 yard. Powder charge = 80g Blackhorn.











First bottle was destroyed. Second bottle had the top half blown high, and away. The bottom half lay on the ground covering part of the bullet. The rest of the bullet was found on the other side of the horse. The last four bottles are undamaged.

There appears to be a pretty fine line between penetration and expansion. No doubt a boiler room shot with that bullet would be devastating.

Looks like a pure lead conical of similar weight.
Nothing wrong with that.

Finally, the bullet got a look at hair. Rifle is Omega Dream season, load is 95g Blackhorn, mmp ballistic bridge sub base , W209 primer.
