My Brother in law Cody and I went catfishing at a local pond this afternoon. We ended up with 31 cat. One really nice 3 pounder and a bunch of smaller fish.
Normally I wouldn't keep em that small however we caught gobs of them and never did catch another nice one. All the fish looked like they hadn't been eating well. They'd take the liver before it even hit the bottom. We threw back as many or more than we kept! We were completely soaked and muddy (poured rain most of the time we were there).
We used chicken liver and had a sinker on the bottom with the hook/bait on top. I got horned a few times and now my fingers are very stiff.
I actually skunked my brother in law who usually beats me when we go fishing.
