Bronze brush on a drill with oil seems to have worked in getting the rust out!

Some of the nitride has worn through, but happy the rust is gone.

I think I am going to try a different brand of antisieze.

Thanks guys

Be cautious with evaporust as it will remove blueing. Use a long handled brush and put it in your drill in reverse and work from the breech end. (you can put a brush on a shotgun cleaning rod if your drill will open that far.

I quit using any antiseize a long time ago. Now I use nothing but thread tape. The tape gets in the bottom of the threads and fouling comes out when you remove the tape when cleaning.
