Putting Frontier's SHOOT OUT! Patch Lube & Bore Enhancer to work today!
The last time I shot the rifle I noticed some stickiness about 3 to 4" above the seated patched round ball.
I mounted the gun in my vise and manually put aprox 100 strokes with Shoot Out! down the bore and went shooting this evening. ZERO stickiness!
Must have just been a little bit of a rough spot where fouling was gathering up.
Next time on the range, I will lube up my shooting patches with Shoot Out! and put abot 70gr 3fg Goex behind it to really do some polishing in the bore.
Now I need to figure out how to build a jig/guide to hold my cleaning rod straight so I clean polish everything in one stroke rather than doing the last 3" of the muzzle down the road.
Not fully clean here, just after I finished with the Shoot Out.
only 2 pictures but I used 4 patches total. I also squeezed out as much of the wet lube as possible by hand and then went at the bore with the cleaning rod.
