Just read an article that you can carry a weapon in a approved fanny pack, unloaded, with loaded clips beside it.
This is better then nothing. They say its just 60 sec. to retrieve the gun and load. I bet its a long 60 sec if some is messing with you.

The gun laws aren't the reason I moved from Illinois 53 years ago but would be the reason I would leave there today. That and the politics.

Looks like IL CC is coming, though some are fighting it all the way. I'm very glad to see it, WI took to long also.

CC is already signed into law in Illinois. The legislature over-rode the governor's veto and it became law a few days ago.
