Constant 10ML-II problem..

I use "The Stick" nickel anti-sieze on both breech plug and ventliner.Have never had either one stuck.

I have been shooting a Savage 300-400/rifle/year since 2000 and have NEVER had a vent liner stick. I have used several different types of antiseize, and noticed no difference between them.

I've had SEVERAL PMs sent to me recommending that very lube! I'll have to try it! I think Grouse may have bought some the other day come to think of it!

Consider chucking a countersink bit in your drill and lightly "dressing" the "cone" in the face of the breech plug. It may be "burred" or out of round. That might be the problem if it is always happening to the same breech plug. Just my thoughts...BOBinIN
