I really like that gun & the 1:24 twist. I have a 1:24 .50 sidelock. If I had any practical use at all for a .50 & would already have hit you up to work out a deal on it. There is nuthin to not like or be impressed with, with that gun. Why no one has jumped on that like a mad beast yet is beyond me. Killer deal too.

I would buy it but I would probably lose it in the divorce!!!!
Well here is what you do. You swagger in to the kitchen and look your wife in the eyes and in your boldest voice you say "
Honey we been married for a while now and it is time for me to assert my manliness. I wear the pants. I am the head of the house and therefore I have decided I am going to buy another muzzleloader . You might not think I need it but that is irrelevant . I want it and therefore I am going to get it . ". End of conversation. Then march out 😁
Not sure how well that works as I never had the gonads to try it . I always snuck mine in when she wasnt looking. But either you end up with a new muzzleloader or a black eye. One of the two 😁. Let us know

Well we're going on 50 years in November and just the other day we have an argument because she can't remember s**t and what I told her. She kept arguing so I told her I was done with her crap and I started packing my stuff to head back up to PA without her and she changed her tune pretty quickly. The trouble is they get used to you doing things for them and realize that they can't do a lot of things and they really need you. I don't know how many thousands of $$ I saved us by doing stuff myself. Heck I even finished an entire new house on the inside alone. Plumbing, electric, drywall, cabinets & counter tops....everything. Plus all the other repairs on vehicles and such. They just don't get it sometimes and you have to remind them.
And the Bible says they are to be obedient, but in turn we are to honor them.
