Deer behaviour never ceases to amaze me. This weekend I'm up at my cabin and deer are every where. The neighbor feeds them with alpalfa bales. Me, I give 'em oats. On friday there had to be 20 does and fawns in the back at the bales. Out front I had 4 or 5 bucks lined up eating my oats. Plenty of big bucks too.
Anyway, this morning I looked out and heard something strange. There were 2 bucks, a 4 x 4 and 5 x 4 sparing. Haven't heard horns rattling like that for months. Don't know what they're up to but the kept at it for quite some time. Then they took a break and soon were back at it.
