encore 209x50

i would like to put a 209x50 barrel on my encore and shoot loose goex 2f.will it shoot decent groups out to 150 yds with pure lead conicals?because it would be cheaper to keep same components as i use in my flinter.

Unlikely.

I would think the lead conicals would be jumping the rifling before you get the velocity up where they would have a decent trajectory.

okay where would you start with a loads & components?i was just trying to keep less stuff to keep seperated. 19 rifles all different cal., 5 shotguns,3 flinters and 3 handguns you get the picture.

Two or three Pyrodex pellets under a 250-grain Shockwave has performed very well for me.

 

[Non-Typical]

120 grns T7 loose, 250 Barnes works for me.
