Well the older excalibur exocet scored ona small buck last year, traded it in for an excalibur equinox and after a long few weeks it scored last saturday.

it had been a tough year with the crossbow in ct.
after 14 trips, finally SAW my first deer in CT saturday.
saw 2 does out of range, and then this nice tender spike walked by at 20 yards.
the excalibur crossbow tipped with a wasp jakhammer expandible did the job.
aimed at shoulder but didn't "stop" deer and hit him a little far back. hit liver, diaphram, and edge of
stomach.

complete passthru. you see exit wound in photos.

hope you're seasons are going well

How far did he go before he keeled over, Bobby?

Congratulations on a nice tender buck.

Congrats, that's some perseverance to go out that many times and have the ability to stay focused. I've used the Wasp Jak hammers on several deer with a computer bow and had good results.

thanks guys.

bob he took a couple of quick jumps at shot, then looked around, and walked slowly up a hill about 60 or 70 yards, from my tree, went to a small low spot in a stonewall and looked like he wanted to jump over it, but fell over dead. probably took a true 50 or 60 seconds.

I've had 2 liver shot deer do that .. walk off about 50 yards, stand there, and fall over. A good wide broadhead helps.
