Flitz metal polish

Has anyone used Flitz on the inside of your bore? Is it something that leaves a residue that can be shot out or does it make it smoother?

Flitz is pretty darn aggressive and removes metal, it would be very difficult to remove a uniform amount using this. If used in the bore, the barrel would have to be cleaned very well to remove all residue. Yes I have done it, and my results were not anything that helped. I would not recommend it.

I agree with Rifleman.

A friend told to try it for some very light lapping.

Very diffcult to get the residue out between the lands.

Never did it again.
