A comment I made about Maynard tape primers in the previous thread made me think of the Fuller collection at Chickamauga, which in turn made me think of this Youtube video

If you ever find yourself on I-75 near the TN/GA border it is really worth your time to take a short side trip and at least visit the museum for an hour or two. These guns were acquired back in the day when there was still a lot of mint or near mint stuff floating around.
My last visit was in 2008, right before I went back to work after a month off for surgery. The long car trip may have led to my getting a blood clot in my leg and being back in the hospital a week and two days after I returned to work. I think it was worth it.
