I shot this gun yesterday at 44 yards and with a load of 2oz #6 nickle plated lead with buffer, 3" turkey ranger wad with overshot card, and 90 grains of 777,,, it put 12 shots into a HS Strut turkey target vitals. This being the first time out and just guessing a load I'm pretty tickled. I also shot the turkey target at 30 yards and it was just devastating... I expected to spend a lot of time with the TK, but with this first try I feel good for any bird 40 and in.

season in coming fast, that is a beautiful mount and the gun aint to shabby either. good luck with the turks this year

I shoot a TK2000 as well. I load 100 grains of Pyrodex RS and then a 3-1/4 solid shot wad cup. Then an equal amount out of a second shot wad cup of #5 shot. On that I put a foam wad.

At 45 yards it put nine hits in a olive can. Good luck. Great looking shotgun there.

Yeah that is a nice looking shotgun there! I got one... How's the recoil?
