Great Grandson-Grandfather Hunt

Spent the weekend on a fun-filled grandson-grandfather hunt with Kinsel Cattle Company (http://www.KinselCattleCompany.com) located 80 miles south of San Antonio. The weekend was sponsored by Outdoor Texas Camps (http://www.OutdoorTexasCamps.com), which offers a variety of summer youth camps focused on hunting and fishing across Texas. We were welcomed by Karl Kinsel (CEO of Texas Trophy magazine) and Peter Velasco (owner of Outdoor Texas Camps). Two other hunters joined us for the weekend. Although the weather has quite hot for this time of year, my grandson took a nice doe with his CVA inline. We saw plenty of game, including a bigger than life buck, and had a great hunt over the long weekend. The food was tasty, we relaxed in the nicely appointed camp house, and we enjoyed downtime with camaraderie and storytelling with the whole group. Special thanks to Karl and Peter for the memories that Quinn and I will sshare for a lifetime. We hope to hunt with this great group again soon.
