Looking for a Traditions sidekick wooden stock that I can cut down to 12” lop for my grandson. He is ten, and wants to shoot muzzleloaders .
I have a nice Traditions Pennsylvania with a 1-66 twist, short barrel, and beautiful stock. Too nice to chop this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Never heard of that model?
H&R sidekick ?
That is the infamous “ predictive spelling” It is a traditions sidelock, called a Pennsylvania, 1/66 twist. Very nice shooting gun, but too long for my grandson.

Oh OK, gotcha. Traditions stocks are hard to find. I rarely see any come up for sale. Ebay would probably be your best bet to find one.

Sounds like a plan. Let me know when you find it.
Thanks, Rusticbob
