Yes, during the center fire season that’s how we have had our success as well. This year mainly being by myself it was limiting but I had a good time.

Yes that is an area I was looking at. May try and get into sisters wilderness from the box canyon side as well, weather permitting.

I would hunt Cupola, along the steep breaks that drop off to 242

Well done! We couldn’t get anything to work. But glade someone did! I definetly haven’t given up on the place but sure seems to be getting tougher to hunt.

With the rifle deer season just ending a couple days earlier, I think they have the elk pushed back into some hidey holes.
