I’m up here in Fairfax, used to hunt near Lake Anna years ago.

I hunt down in Dinwiddie and Sussex counties. I'm a transplant from the Tidewater area.

How’s the hunting in those areas? I always had problems with people running dogs during archery and BP.

During the gun season I enjoyed hearing the dogs and waiting for something to head my way.

Its still a PITA, as the dog season gets closer they tend to drop them out for a chase. Lost a couple of opportunities as a result over the years.

I hear you, I hunted a small property between two huge hunt clubs (several thousand acres each, timber company leases) with dogs. They would always run the dogs through our woods.

As much as it was annoying, I still loved to hear them howling when on a scent. Reminded me of my coon hunting days.
