This gator appears to be almost 15 ft. long judging by the width of the path he crossed.

The link below shows the video.

I had a much smaller one "stalk" me in the nearby lake while I was in my layout duck boat. The one above is considerably longer than my layout boat.

It is getting close to mating season, Bob. Watch yourself.

(Non-Florida folks, they do get aggressive during mating season and will attack
and stalk and present themselves much more dangerously. Spring is a bad
time for gators. They become much more intensely gatory.)

That fellow looks a bit unusual besides his size. His throat and stomach seem odd.
I bet he is OLD.

I wonder if its even real or not?
Watch the video; it's real. The gator was estimated by biologists as being over 50 years old.

The place is a nature marsh area, Circle B Bar Reserve. They had it open for duck hunting when it first was bought from the ranchers but only the local people in Polk County knew about it. By the time I found out about it, it was closed to hunting in the marsh area. It sits on the shore of Lake Hancock which has the densest population of gators in the state, along with Lake Griffin.
