I spent some time this past weekend in PA helping my nephew get his 80 acre hunting camp ready for the upcoming deer season.  Here’s a few pics of the camp.

A bear had played havoc with the auto corn feeder’s tripod legs. The remedy was to remove the legs and hoist the feeder up using a rope.

The stand overlooks a freshly planted food plot.

Very nice! Takes a lot of hard work and dedication to keep that up. Did some brush hogging this week around our place. Enjoy.
"lot of hard work"...you got that right.  A couple of miles of un-paved road just to get there.
You want everything up and working come early hunting season.

That's a very nice property.   The huge  game plot is beautiful.  What's growing there?
What's growing was planted as a store mix of several...I know he mentioned turnips for one.  This was the first time this mix was planted.  It will be good to eventually find-out what plants prefer the existing soil conditions.  Still some growing season left.

The deer have not shown any interest in the plot yet.  The important thing is they know it's there.

Beautiful county you got up there in Canada. Pass along a few pics of your hunting area next time out if you get a chance. :)
