Here it is 4:55 am and I'm waiting for my hunting parter. Gear is all pack, pocket is full of deer tags and bow is ready to go. Leaving in about 20 minutes. Will likely pass on smaller bucks but will shoot a big one if oportunity comes a long. Probably will take a mulie doe if I get a chance. Have 2 tags for them

I'm back, showered and shaved. No deer to process today. Saw lots but nothing came within bow range. It was a little chilly out there. +8C (46 F) and a bit of a breeze when I left the house. Got cooler at dawn. It was nice to be in my blind. Saw deer, heard coyotes off in the distance, watch several flocks of geese go by and saw something we rarely see around here. 5 Turkey vultures. They were sitting on a fence and seemed interested in a coyote that was sitting about 10 yds from him. Not sure what he was interested 'cause nothing there. Looking forward to the next time out.
