Alright do I understand everyone correctly is the Disc Elite even in .45 cal discontiued? I found some on a web site around 400 bucks and believe I will try one. Another question is all I have had is a .50 caliber is the .45 a flatter shooter ? Whitetails is probably my biggest animal. And if anyone knows where I could still get a .50 Elite please let me know. Appreciate all your help and Love this forum. Heck I probably should just go pick up the omega at wallyworld but just can't make up my mind THanks

go back to the main page & scrolle down to buy-sale trade section

com45 has a 50cal ss with nikon scope for sale i was going to buy but didn't work out

The .45 Elite shoots flatter but the .50 Elite is much more forgiving on load selection, tends to be slightly more accurate, and packs more of a punch. Like what was said above this rifle http://www.modernmuzzleloader.com/phpBB ... highlight=
is a good deal, I was tempeted to buy it myself as a backup to my backup.
In my opinion the Elites are some of the finest muzzelloaders ever made.
