I saw that $1000.00 "new" price in his add and thought it was high. I hate it when people inflate the value of something thinking its a good way to sell at a market cost. He'll likely be miffed as I left the link to Midway's muzzleloading rifle page featuring some of the mountaineers. Oh well....truth in advertising?
The MSRP suggested by Knight will always be greater than the price that a distributor can sell the rifle for. It has to be to establish dealers across the US.
I think the point im making though is....i think ive paid full MSRP once in my life for a muzzleloader but that was still a great price. Its normally pretty easy to beat MSRP on virtually anything.
