It would probably work on the plug but it has to have the tapered end to remove the nipple from the plug before you remove the plug

Contact Knight Rifles, or try a place a gun parts replacement company. There are a couple of them out there, but I forget their names. I recently ordered an extractor for an old single shot pistol I have, and I found the part online.

I can get a new one from knight....$40 dollars by the time I pay shipping. I was figuring that someone had converted to 209 and didn't need the old school and I could buy one for half that. I am still hopeful

I can buy the new western legal breech plug with the hex head and use no. 11 or musket nipple but I've been trying to find the original tool for what I have, trying to avoid buying a $35 tool if I can find cheaper...

Well no luck so far but it's driving me nuts i'm almost positive I still have one !!
