Weaver and Knight list base #45 for the Wolverine and other round receiver rifles. Weaver base #18 is the same shape and about a third of an inch lower. Using base #18, a low model Weaver ghost ring sight is on target 
with the factory front sight which on my one year old rifle is a Williams fiber optic. I had to grind maybe 1/50th of an inch off the bottom of the sight to get it to fit. Looks like a good set up.
