I have been told that the pistols (shown below) have triggers in them made by someone named "Louie" who lived in LA during the 1960s and later, and who was known for his work on muzzleloaders. The guns themselves were made by Howard Markham, of San Diego, and used to great effectiveness (he set five records for the CMLRA, three of which still stand).
The triggers are extremely fine - better than anything I've ever experienced on either American or Eurpoean schuetzen rifles.
I'm hoping someone here can give me some information about Mr. Louie. Personel stories, tall tales, actual experiences - anything would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
