Happy Independence Day to All!
Got to shoot for a bit on Friday. Wanted to shoot some conicals out of the .50 Lyman Deerstalker. Usually just shoot PRB.
The day was warm, about 78 degrees. Wind was almost absent but blowing back at my face.
Range: 50yds
Bullets: 275gr TC Maxihunter
385gr Hornady Grat Plains
350gr Horanady FPB
Powder: Triple 7
Caps: CCI #11
Swab: Between all shots with 1 damp alcohol patch and 1 dry patch
Should have stopped after 3 shots with the Great Plains. Some tweaking is in order. The Great Plains may shoot better with a bit less powder maybe?
You will notice no target for the FPBs. I shot them last and did not hit paper. Since this was a commercial range I could not move up closer to see where I was hitting.
