This guy showed up in my backyard this morning.

Supposedly they can smell black oil sunflower seeds from a mile away. Birdseed is the gateway drug for troublemaking bears.

I think they can. Any kind of bird seed in bear territory is a trouble magnet.

It'll be back. It knows there's something to eat there.
I hooked up a 50 mile fence charger to our feeder pole. There's only about 150' of wire used. It lights them on fire LOL

Found this dried up bear poop in my backyard while cutting grass last week. Looks like when these bears hit someone’s trash can they swallow everything. This poop has parts of plastic bags and wrappers, pieces of rubber, broken up pieces of plastic forks and spoons and whole kernels of corn as well as other unidentified specimens.

That's why I gave up on bird feeders,
Too many other critters like the seed to.

Funny you should say that. My wife has used an electronics air blast cleaner in a spray can to shoo the bears off in the past. She figured it works for the cat when he gets up on the countertop or coffee table, that it would work for the bears. She was right.
When I sniffled he got startled and turned back around.
