Once upon a time I had one of the fancy exotic wood range boxes which eventually fell all to pieces. It wasn't abused....just used. Can't recall what I paid for that dude but it wasn't cheap! When I stepped back into the world of muzzleloading again I decided that most likely I could pick up what would suffice for a range box at Lowe's and this is the current model! Durable and waterproof and if something happens to it....I'll just fork over another $30.00 and go get another one! It holds all I need for any range/shooting session and easy hauling about!

Looks good to me!  I like the shorter top tray so you can put a little taller container it there without having to tip it over on its side.

I like wood and iron. I dislike plastic so to each his own. 
Polymer is OK.

This is my preference.
