Dad has asked me to list his Huntsman. Getting hard for him to get around in the woods and he no longer wants to go late season with the snow, ice, and colder temps. Besides that, if I talk him into it, I have an extra muzzleloader he can borrow.
Really good shape, barrel looks blindingly bright. Externally very good except for two small spots in the wood as shown. No rear sight and he is keeping the old Tasco since it won't have much value anyway, but will come with scope rail. Front sight was/is missing the dovetailed fiberoptic (I guess that was what was in the dovetail), so he had it off. It has now been re-installed. Looked to have a bit of loctite under it??? Original ramrod in great shape.
Always pretty accurate with xtp's and Crush Rib sabots shooting right at 1" at 100 yards.
He opened the rim of the Metrics Unlimited plug to get the primers out easier and now it leaks some when fired. Still just as accurate, but a little more cleaning. Will include the box of 10 Lowe's o rings for the primer pocket also.
