New to me 50 Cal. Trapper & 45 Cal Patriot

Stopped at a LGS today on my way home from work 
Been wanting a Pistol for a long time.
Found this Trapper on the bottom of a glass case.
Looks to be shot very little.
Lock feels great with a pretty good feeling trigger.
Bore is clean and shiny. 

The Patriot I got from a coworker. 
I had to clean it up a bit, some surface rust and brass was green.
Bore is perfect, and no cracks in the wood, all is great.
Rust cleaned up with a 1957 copper penny and oil.

I really like the hook on the stock and the trigger guard.
Makes the pistol fit my hand really well.

I also made an offer to a friend of mine for her T/C Patriot .45 cal.

Make sure you disassemble the Patriot and check out the stock carefully. They have a problem with fracturing. Many are repaired or have hidden cracks.

Went to the range this morning, this thing is a Hoot 
I thought it would take <a href='/tags/11' rel='nofollow' title='See all tagged subjects with: #11'>#11</a> caps, but it takes <a href='/tags/10' rel='nofollow' title='See all tagged subjects with: #10'>#10</a>
Easy clean up, take off barrel and clean in kitchen sink.

You can swap the nipple out for <a href='/tags/11' rel='nofollow' title='See all tagged subjects with: #11'>#11</a>. Sounds like the previous owner changed it out.
