new to the forum. finding lots of good stuff in the post. been hunting with a smoke pole since '73. first muzzle loader was a kit bought from Sears for less than $125. it's s/n was 00097! now have 3 54 cal- TC hawken and renegade, and a Knight m-85 i won in a raffle-best $10 ticket i ever bought. have used my smoke poles some years during modern gun, as i still prefer them over the smokeless guns. keep your powder dry!
