Hello,
I just joined this forum last night. I'm new to muzzleloaders, I've never shot a ml in my life. I've always wanted to try muzzleloaders, so I bought me a CVA Hunter .45 cal, bolt-action in-line for $75 at a flea market this past Saturday. It REALLY needs to be cleaned, the breech plug needs to be replaced, and one of the sights is missing. After the maintenance is done, I'm wanting to do some whitetail hunting here in my home state during the bp season, so I'm going to need some help with choosing the right powder/pellet, bullet/sabot, etc., for my muzzleloader. I'm also thinking about putting a scope on it. And maybe in the future, I might want to go Elk hunting with it, but I'll post that question in a different thread.
