That would be a river. Right now it is only ankle deep... Last night I had a doe come from in front of me and cross that river directly behind my stand. I watched her go up the bank on the other side, and all of a sudden I hear THWACK!!!! There was a guy and his son sitting in a ground blind over there and I had no idea they were there!! That was pretty cool.

I bet he is too. I thought I got into my stand early, but they had to have been there before me, otherwise I would have heard them walking in. So they had to know I was there the whole time. I was rattling, and calling the whole time, and they never made a peep. I am sure they heard her as soon as she got in the river, and could see her coming the whole time. Must have been a good shot, she didnt make it 50 yards before I heard her crash.
