Blackhorn is going to price itself out of business with prices like that! I've got enough for another season or two and then I'll start looking for another powder!

Is it Western Powders doing this, or the retailers? I am a big Western Powders fan for reloading, so I guess I will find out when deer season is over and I start doing more target shooting; thus, needing to buy more powder.

Maybe splitting hairs, but in the interest of fairness/clarity: I believe that Hodgdon bought most or all of the Western Powders brands a couple of years ago.

Hodgdon is currently on my “naughty” list, they won’t be getting any Christmas card from me! I’ve taken the time to email them two polite, clearly-worded product inquiries. The gist of my inquiries:
-Will we ever see more Trail Boss powder? (Wanted to hear from the company, not just web-based rumors.)
-Are we likely to be seeing Blackhorn209 come down in price, at all? Container size shrunk by 20%, while prices have basically doubled in 2022, looking at my receipts. “Everything” is higher these days, but Pyrodex and Triple Seven appear to be up very little, compared to Blackhorn. Why is that?

At this point, I’d be somewhat happy to just get some BS answer. Answer your customer inquiries! 🤬

Triple Seven is suddenly looking like quite the bargain! 😂

Sorry for the (continued) thread drift, but the “2-day no Haz Mat” promo is over, anyway! 🤠
